Inspiration comes from ... daily quotes?

Found a sweet site you just have to check out! It's JustSell.com (on my list of links on Sales Speak) and you can subscribe to daily sales quotes. In fact, they even let you print out bold, graphic designs of the quotes ... in a choice of designs. Plus, you can send the daily quotes to colleagues and friends or submit a quote for them to use (maybe we should submit a quote from Rich De Vos or Jay Van Andel.) How lovely.  How thought-provoking. How inspirational. I love quotes. I write 'em down, hang 'em up, share 'em with others, write poems inspired by the thought they provoke. I also add them to the signature of my corporate email. One of the art directors at an agency who does catalog work for us says she loves to hear from me ... just to see what the quote on the bottom of my email might be.

The quote (from JustSell.com ) on the bottom of my email reads:

Perfection of character is this: To live each day as if it were your last, without frenzy, without apathy, without pretence.   --Marcus Aurelius

Today's quote at JustSell.com reads:

Let me tell you the secret that has led me to my goal; my strength lies solely in my tenacity.

--Louis Pasteur

Do quotes like these inspire you?

Hi Susan,

I have been getting those quotes in my email for a couple years now. Most are really good. I also get quotes from Zig Ziglar's My Daily Insights at http://www.ZigZiglar.com.  They are very good. I get Zig's newsletter also.

There are several that can be quite inspiring.

Thanks for the Zig site. I am signing up. sjw

Susan,

Thank you so much for turning me on to www.JustSell.com! What a great resource...loads of sales maxims as posters, "A Message to Garcia" and "Rowan Awards"; the amazing 212degree video, and so much more!

I love quotes, too, and use them several times a day to "Get My Groove Back".

The way you are diving into being an IBO is just awesome...we all are so proud of you, Girl!

Peter, WOW! You are so positive and supportive ... I think I'll do 5 miles on the elliptical trainer tonight. It's good thinking time and good for me physically. Off to the gym and then I want to make a sales goal plan for the rest of the year. Fourth quarter is gift-giving time and I think we have some great products to sell to family and friends for gifting ... like Ribbon, Personal Accents, Body Blends, Artistry Spa Collection ... hmmm, what else? sjw

There's a bit of a conversation down at the bottom of the "low price" thread about using music to motivate...a great topic!  At the risk of being a blog hog, I'll repost mine here:

In motivational music there is none equal to that of Day One, a group out of Tennessee just near me now headquartered in Nashville.  The father of Darin Scott, the group's founder, is an IBO and motivational speaker and they are very well known in the Yager Group and BWW.  I have all their albums but one, which is on my Christmas gift list!  Go to www.dayonemusic.com, click on the "music" button, and you'll see a link: "For motivational music for Quixtar IBO's only, click here."

My personal fave albums are "Freedom Jam, vol 1", "The Beginning", and "Never Give Up"; but they are all excellent.  It's nice to know that you are supporting their ministry as well, which is fully described on their web page.  If they don't rock your world, get therapy, like NOW.

About Susan Julien-Willson

I enjoy attending writing/marketing/advertising seminars and conferences for the inspiration and motivation they provide and I also love participating in a monthly writing group and a book club. On weekends, I am frequently found in the poetry/fiction/business/music sections of Schuler Books, my fave local bookstore, or reading magazines and sipping coffee in their café. You can also look for me on weekends at my family cottage in the summer or movie theaters or the mall in the winter. Evenings and weekends, you might spot me out walking when the weather is warm and sunny, or at the Alticor fitness center a few times a week. I love clothes and jewelry as an expression of my personal style. Because I tend to spend most of my time working, working out, or writing poetry, I don?t do the extent of volunteer work I?d like to, but I have a long list of favorite charities I support, including Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Easter Seals, American Cancer Society, Hospice of Michigan, Gilda's Club, and Habitat for Humanity.
