Welcome to the Amway Global's Sales Speak Blog
So, it's officially autumn and what does that mean?

The leaves are changing color in the midwest. Sooner than usual this year.

It's apple-tastic time in Michigan. Fabulous. Apple crisp warm from the oven.

Amway Global just launched some OUTSTANDING new catalogs and products: Optimal Health, True Beauty, and Essential Home. Check out the new PERSONAL ACCENTS jewelry, too. WOW!

Many of us are wearing sweatshirts or sweaters once the sun sets -- and in the morning.

School buses are everywhere! Takes longer to get to work in the morning but that's okay -- longer to listen to music on my way to the office.

Halloween is going to be here before we know it. I plan to be a witch. I play that part well every year. LOL.

I will overdose on candy corn again in October. Guaranteed. (But I feel less guilty if I work out and take NUTRILITE Supplements.)

Gift-giving season is coming our way. Are you ready?

The retail campaign, GIVE THE BEST, has launched to help make sure your season is bright and bountiful. The special offers include everything from the new LEGACY OF CLEAN home care to PERSONAL ACCENTS jewelry.

Get all the details on this campaign online.

Don't forget the Ribbon Gift Collections. They're fabulous now and always for gift giving.

Have yourself a colorful fall season.

Can someone please tell me why, as a customer I can purchase a SINGLE Nutrilite catalog (they should be free to customers), but I have to purchase FIVE of the home catalogs?  I have no need to purchase 5.  Simply doesn't make sense.  True, my IBO can ship some too me, and will if I ask, but that's a lot of hassle for my IBO (I live far away from my IBO).

Editor's Note: Thanks for your input, Dan. I will pass this on to the Marketing department.

It means new goals to reach for.  It also means lots of Glister Toothpaste and Oral Rinse after the candy corn.

Editor's Note: LOL! I definitely had a good fall weekend up north -- Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire Bluffs, candy corn, pumpkin cookies, and Michigan apples! Everyone at the retreat also loved all the nut mixes I brought -- you can find 'em in your Essential Home Catalog or online. They're delicious.

Thanks, and while you're chatting with Marketing, please let them know that there is currently no way for a customer to order a catalog from the website...it was only through your link in this post that I found the catalogs.  No where on the site does it offer catalogs and if you search "Catalog" - a link for Paper Direct comes up.  I guess I'm old fashioned--I like to thumb through them--always find something new to order that I wouldn't normally "see" on the site.  Thanks!

Dan,

The Essential Home Catalog is available as a single. The sku is 400993. If you search for that sku, it should come up for you. Let me know!

Thanks,

Susan, Dan is right about the catalogs not being available for customers to order online.  There needs to be an "Order a Catalog" icon on the customer view just like the IBO view. Maybe the new amwayglobal.com site will fix this as I don't really think that a customer is going to order a catalog by a stock number. Just a thought.

About Susan Julien-Willson

I enjoy attending writing/marketing/advertising seminars and conferences for the inspiration and motivation they provide and I also love participating in a monthly writing group and a book club. On weekends, I am frequently found in the poetry/fiction/business/music sections of Schuler Books, my fave local bookstore, or reading magazines and sipping coffee in their café. You can also look for me on weekends at my family cottage in the summer or movie theaters or the mall in the winter. Evenings and weekends, you might spot me out walking when the weather is warm and sunny, or at the Alticor fitness center a few times a week. I love clothes and jewelry as an expression of my personal style. Because I tend to spend most of my time working, working out, or writing poetry, I don?t do the extent of volunteer work I?d like to, but I have a long list of favorite charities I support, including Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Easter Seals, American Cancer Society, Hospice of Michigan, Gilda's Club, and Habitat for Humanity.
